Bored? Make a Board Game

Emerging from isolation...

Not so long ago, enveloped in the throngs of a global pandemic, my friend and future Kratisto Co-Creator decided it was time to make a board game. We set out to make a boardgame that met my desire for an immersive, engine-builder, competitive, diplomatic, trading game. Motivated by the isolating nature of the times we wanted to make a game to bring people together.

We toiled, strategized, and imagined up a game that we knew would be loved. We modeled off of other games we loved like Catan, Risk, and Terraforming Mars along with computer games like the Civilization series. Our first play test was a blast! We played four about 8 hours and completed only about a quarter of the game! Yikes!!!

Needless to say we needed to make edits - and edit we have...

After five winters of playtesting and tweaking we've made a really fun game!

I look forward to making this thing a reality and I hope to get to play with you soon!
